One of the aims of the FSG is to assist those seeking to understand more about fortification in general or help with particular questions.
This section contains a number of articles from FORT and from Casemate which are arranged to show the development of fortifications designed to resist artillery. The content will be reviewed and expanded as other articles become available.
Some of the files available on these pages are large and may take a few mintues to dowload. As a rough guide a 5MB file should normally download in 2 minutes over a basic (512Mbps) broadband connection.
