Bletchley Park (BP), in rural Buckinghamshire, was the home of the code-breaking effort in WW2, revealing the secrets of the German code machine Enigma. A small operation in 1939, with one hundred staff and ten thousand in 1945; started by the UK, with a lot of French and Polish help, with a big American effort.
BP is credited with making WW2 shorter and aided the Allied victory. It is now run as a museum and needs a lot of cash. HMG and various others have declined to help. Their website is: www.bletchleypark.org.uk
