I am very pleased to present my first volume of FORT to the membership. It would not have been possible without the editorial board - Dave Bassett, Terrance McGovern, Charles Blackwood and Bernard Lowry - and Steve Dent, who undertook the hard work of designing and setting the volume.
The last 'paper' in the volume is a new set of Notes for Contributors - the more you can do to conform to the Notes, the easier and faster it is to edit the next volume, but please don't let the Notes for Contributors get in the way of submitting good material to us.
The editing of FORT 35 is already well in hand and we hope to have it published later in 2007.
Finally, I have to fit editing FORT round a demanding 'day job'. Please accept my apologies in advance for any delay in responding to or acknowledging submissions or other communications.
